Validation des données à l'aide de TFX Pipeline et de TensorFlow Data Validation

Dans ce didacticiel basé sur un bloc-notes, nous allons créer et exécuter des pipelines TFX pour valider les données d'entrée et créer un modèle ML. Ce portable est basé sur le pipeline TFX nous avons construit en simple TFX Pipeline Tutorial . Si vous n'avez pas encore lu ce didacticiel, vous devriez le lire avant de continuer avec ce bloc-notes.

La première tâche de tout projet de science des données ou de ML est de comprendre et de nettoyer les données, ce qui comprend :

  • Comprendre les types de données, les distributions et d'autres informations (par exemple, la valeur moyenne ou le nombre d'uniques) sur chaque fonctionnalité
  • Génération d'un schéma préliminaire qui décrit les données
  • Identifier les anomalies et les valeurs manquantes dans les données par rapport à un schéma donné

Dans ce tutoriel, nous allons créer deux pipelines TFX.

Tout d'abord, nous allons créer un pipeline pour analyser l'ensemble de données et générer un schéma préliminaire de l'ensemble de données donné. Ce pipeline comprendra deux nouveaux composants, StatisticsGen et SchemaGen .

Une fois que nous avons un schéma approprié des données, nous allons créer un pipeline pour former un modèle de classification ML basé sur le pipeline du didacticiel précédent. Dans ce pipeline, nous utiliserons le schéma de la première canalisation et un nouveau composant, ExampleValidator , pour valider les données d'entrée.

Les trois nouveaux composants, StatisticsGen, SchemaGen et ExampleValidator, sont des composants TFX pour l' analyse des données et la validation, et ils sont mis en œuvre à l' aide de la validation des données tensorflow bibliothèque.

D'installation

Nous devons d'abord installer le package Python TFX et télécharger le jeu de données que nous utiliserons pour notre modèle.

Pip de mise à niveau

Pour éviter de mettre à niveau Pip dans un système lors de l'exécution locale, assurez-vous que nous exécutons dans Colab. Les systèmes locaux peuvent bien sûr être mis à niveau séparément.

Si vous utilisez Google Colab, la première fois que vous exécutez la cellule ci-dessus, vous devez redémarrer le runtime en cliquant au-dessus du bouton "RESTART RUNTIME" ou en utilisant le menu "Runtime> Restart runtime ...". Cela est dû à la façon dont Colab charge les packages.

Configurer des variables

Certaines variables sont utilisées pour définir un pipeline. Vous pouvez personnaliser ces variables comme vous le souhaitez. Par défaut, toutes les sorties du pipeline seront générées sous le répertoire actuel.

Préparer des exemples de données

Nous allons télécharger l'exemple de jeu de données à utiliser dans notre pipeline TFX. L'ensemble de données que nous utilisons est dataset Palmer Penguins qui est également utilisé dans d' autres exemples de TFX .

Il y a quatre caractéristiques numériques dans cet ensemble de données :

  • culmen_length_mm
  • culmen_depth_mm
  • longueur_nageoire_mm
  • masse_corps_g

Toutes les caractéristiques étaient déjà normalisées pour avoir la plage [0,1]. Nous allons construire un modèle de classification qui prédit les species de manchots.

Étant donné que le composant TFX ExampleGen lit les entrées d'un répertoire, nous devons créer un répertoire et y copier l'ensemble de données.

Vous devriez pouvoir voir cinq colonnes de fonctionnalités. species est l' un des 0, 1 ou 2, et toutes les autres caractéristiques devraient avoir des valeurs comprises entre 0 et 1. Nous allons créer un pipeline de TFX pour analyser cet ensemble de données.

Générer un schéma préliminaire

Les pipelines TFX sont définis à l'aide d'API Python. Nous allons créer un pipeline pour générer automatiquement un schéma à partir des exemples d'entrée. Ce schéma peut être revu par un humain et ajusté au besoin. Une fois le schéma finalisé, il peut être utilisé pour la formation et la validation d'exemples dans des tâches ultérieures.

En plus de CsvExampleGen qui est utilisé dans simple TFX Pipeline Tutorial , nous utiliserons StatisticsGen et SchemaGen :

  • StatisticsGen calcule les statistiques pour l'ensemble de données.
  • SchemaGen examine les statistiques et crée un schéma de données initial.

Écrire une définition de pipeline

Nous définissons une fonction pour créer un pipeline TFX. Un Pipeline objet représente un pipeline de TFX qui peut être exécuté en utilisant l' un des systèmes d'orchestration de pipeline qui TFX supports.

Examiner les sorties du pipeline

Nous avons entraîné le modèle de classification pour les pingouins et nous avons également validé les exemples d'entrée dans le composant ExampleValidator. Nous pouvons analyser la sortie de ExampleValidator comme nous l'avons fait avec le pipeline précédent.

Vous devriez voir "Aucune anomalie trouvée" pour chaque fractionnement d'exemples. Étant donné que nous avons utilisé les mêmes données que celles utilisées pour la génération de schéma dans ce pipeline, aucune anomalie n'est attendue ici. Si vous exécutez ce pipeline à plusieurs reprises avec de nouvelles données entrantes, ExampleValidator devrait être en mesure de détecter les écarts entre les nouvelles données et le schéma existant.

Si des anomalies ont été trouvées, vous pouvez examiner vos données pour vérifier si des exemples ne correspondent pas à vos hypothèses. Les sorties d'autres composants comme StatisticsGen peuvent être utiles. Cependant, toute anomalie détectée ne bloquera PAS les exécutions ultérieures du pipeline.
